I am Close to Losing it
As if the editing of the pledge of allegiance wasn't enough to drive me off the edge, the Liberal left cease to amaze me. There has been a new stamp going around now. It is a picture of President Bush and a man with a gun to his head. Let me repeat that. A GUN TO HIS HEAD! These people want to kill the president!
That is it! I am done being nice to the Liberals! They are a death cult. They are pessimistic little wacko drugged up hippy-esc crazies! I'm done. I am done. I've lost 100% of my respect for you. All you do is lie, throw parties when a Republican dies, use hypocrisy as though it was nothing, degrade our country, and call for the death of our own president! Shame on you. Shame on you!
I realize that in the past I have called you a few names. But when did I ever call for you death? How about never. I don't care how much of a crazy Liberal you are, you don't deserve to die. If Bush were to die tomorrow, you would be enjoying a 6 pack with your buddies. Maybe your not a proud enough Liberal to admit it like this person, but you would do it. You hate every Republican for one reason, and one reason only, because we are Republicans. Maybe you'll argue that we hate all Democrats. One, we don't hate all of them. Two, we hate them because they are wrong, not because they are Democrats.
You Liberals are putting every aspect of America at risk. Should I name them off? Okay.

Culture
Borders
Language
The law
Economy
Media
Less poverty
More peace
Less terrorism
And everything that America stands for
I'm sure the list is bigger than that, but the point is, is that you are destroying America. Maybe you don't notice it. Maybe you think your doing the right thing. No you are not. You are destroying America.
I'm hoping some of you will change your ways and turn Republican, but before you just flame me, call me a liar and leave, hear me out.
It's okay to admit that you are wrong. I've done it. It feels good. It feels a lot better than lying. You are standing for something that is killing us. Please change. For the good of everyone, just give the Republican party a chance. We are nothing like what the Al not-Frank ens', and Michael Moorons' tell you. Instead of thinking of us as all fitting into the Liberal made stereotypes, Actually listen to us. Instead of disagreeing before you even understand what we're talking about, listen to us.
So when your done supporting the people that want kill our President, leave a comment. But not until then, because if you come on here and flame, or merely disagree, In my furious state right now, you will get those words put right back in your mouth and down your throught.

Cody: I understand your anger. I also know that you won't get anywhere with anyone by disparaging them. Please go to www.myrepublicanblog.blogspot.com and learn a little bit about how to deal better with people whose politics you don't understand or believe in (regarding this Pledge of Allegiance issue.) You must present your case without so much anger, otherwise you simply turn people off and then they don't listen. Make your points, lucidly and without judgment, so people can understand why you feel the way you do and where you, as a thoughful person (and I know you are) are coming from. Your hostility is alienating. We need, you and I, to be reasonable and present our cases with facts instead of rancor. I'm proud of you. You are still in High School and very involved in Politics, unlike so many people your age. You will go far, but not with hostility. We only win with compassion and rational logic.

The last sentence of my last comment was wrong: Instead of saying "we only win with compassion and rational logic" I meant to say, we can only make our case with compassion and rational logic." Rational logic does not always make it's point. Compassion at least leads to discussion, and discussion between people who do not believe the same as we do leads to a wider understanding of the issues you are fighting for.

Eaprez: Not all Republicans are hateful. Please do not put us in one sack. Or maybe you are not. I haven't checked out the Free Republican Website. For that matter, I haven't checked out your website, but I intend to. Both parties can be hateful indeed. There are reasonable people on both sides. Please remember that. Anger is getting in the way of communication. It is shameful. We are Americans here and need to attempt to mend our bridges. If we don't try to understand one another, this country of ours will go down fast.

Trust me I listen to Liberals talk 24 hours a day. Whether it's in person, on T.V., on the Radio, on the Internet. All day. I have tried to see things from their point of view and tried to think like them, but it doesn't work for me. And like I've said before, I don't disagree with everything lefties say, but 99% of it.

I get a lot of political input every single day. Internet, radio, tv, in person, etc. And I have never seen a Conservative act like this. Ever. Well, except for the guy that called for the hit of Hugo Chavez. But I'm 100% sure that's it.

But if you can't find a picture of this stamp, it is obviously not of mainstream significance. Therefore, it has nothing to do with any liberal politician or average liberal citizen. I know a few pretty crabby conservatives that have made simialiar "threats" about liberals that they don't like.

I watch CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and ABC. Quite often. They do sometimes differ in what they report, but none of them are NEARLY as slanted at Fox. Please don't embarrass yourself by attemtpting to deny that.

They're all slanted, if you want to get technical, just in different directions. Fox stands out for being the only real "Republican" station, but that doesn't make it bad, it's not like they change the news, they just have on shows like O'Riely and Hannity at night. But in my opinion they aren't that bad because O'Riely is "fair and balanced" and Hannity has Colmes.
